The Pi Kappa Alpha Alpha Zeta chapter at the University of Arkansas selected Cyntergy AEC to design an 8,000 SF addition to the historic PKA house on its main campus. Cyntergy began by writing a program for the spaces with representatives from both the University and fraternity, which was then developed into a funcational design that not only accommodates the present needs of the fraternity, but allows for future growth as well. The historic building provided a unique challenge with the addition of a second floor, and the mid century modern structure was studied in depth in order to provide a design that would not only compliment the style, but improve the functionality and durability as well.
