Pentacon and Cyntergy AEC, as a design-build team, were awarded this expansion project, consisting of an 898 Square Meter Weapons Systems Trainer (WST) high-bay addition to an existing flight simulator facility at Little Rock AFB. This project is LEED Silver certified and complies with the DOD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria, and is a properly sized and configured area that accommodates a new six axis C-130 Flight Simulator with adequate space for operational computers, briefing rooms, component and facility storage, classrooms, and instructor areas. The area is securable to the Secret Level and conforms to the security architecture of the existing facility, meets safety requirements for new construction and complies with established physical security guidelines.
