Cyntergy AEC provided engineering and construction phase services for an initial study and detailed construction bid plans and specifications. Initially, the project was intended to replace three existing Cleaver-Brooks water tube boilers; however, Cyntergy's study showed that the facility would be best served by a “decentralized” steam production system to be located in three new separate locations, with the existing central boiler plant abandoned and eventually demolished.
